Jørn Pedersen is an internationally renowned independent recording/audio producer and editor. His task is to take responsibility for the various stages of a CD or broadcast recording from start to finish. This includes the musical/artistic aspects and audio/sound/balance on the recording sessions, as well as the editing & mixing in the post production stage.

His clients are record labels and musicians- mainly in the world of classical music. 

After almost 30 years and hundres of CDs he has extensive experience in recording, producing and editing anything from from solo piano to full scale operas. He has been involved in projects with a variety of internationally renowned artis and stylistically spanning gregorian chant to brand new contemporary music. In addition to being an independent producer he was for nine years permanently employed at Abbey Road Studios in London as well serving five years as Orchestra Director at the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet in Oslo. Currently he also serves as Excecutive Program Director for the Crescendo Mentoring Program for young musicians.

With his background as musician his priority is to guide, support and inspire the artist to best communicate his or her musical intentions to the listener. He believes that it's crucial to always strive for the highest possible quality in every part of the chain - be it the interpretation, sound quality and balance, as well as the editing, mixing and mastering.
